On 27th April, Greenwoods Corner was once again host to a free bike kitchen pop-up and e-bike trial as part of the city-wide Eco Festival.
Locals and visitors to the area were invited to have a pit stop in the village square while their bicycles (large and small) were safety-checked and basic repairs were carried out free of charge by Josca Bicycle Repairs. Chris from Cycling Action Network was also on hand to give people the opportunity to try an e-bike on the road to see if it suited them, no strings attached. Thank you to all of our event partners - Albert-Eden Local Board, Albert-Eden Puketapapa Eco Festival, Albert-Eden Climate Action Network, Josca Bicycle Repairs, and Bike Hub Mt Roskill. Thanks to everyone who attended our Bike Extravaganza today in Greenwoods Corner.
A particularly big thanks must go to our co-sponsors for making this event possible and to our amazing hosts Richard and Dominic for sharing their knowledge and expertise with the local community. If you missed the team’s visit today, please come along to our next event at the Village Square, 579 Manukau Road, Greenwoods Corner Epsom between 11am – 1pm on 27th April. We hope to see you there! |
