We’re thrilled to share the incredible journey of the Leukaemia & Blood Cancer New Zealand EcoPlay Challenge! Over ten weeks, their dedicated team embraced sustainability, making impactful changes that benefit both our planet and our community.
Here are some highlights:
Their efforts resulted in a significant reduction of our carbon footprint by 95kg CO2, equivalent to the emissions from a one-way flight from Auckland to Wellington! But they’re not stopping here. They’re planning more sustainable actions, including transitioning to electric vehicles, responsible event planning, and expanding our gardens with community help. Special thanks to Albert-Eden Local Board, and both Detlev Jackson and Daylyn Braganza from Auckland Council for their support! Comments are closed.
