A New Community Partnership with the Blues

Greenwoods Corner is proud to be partnering with the Blues for the 2026 Super Rugby Pacific season — and we couldn’t be more excited to bring a bit of game-day energy into our village!

This partnership is all about community, families, and shared moments. It’s not about big sponsorships or flashy promotions. It’s about locals supporting locals, getting behind our home team, and creating a buzz in the neighbourhood on game weeks.

Painting the Village Blue

The Blues’ first home game is on Saturday 14th February, and we’ll be marking the occasion by “painting Greenwoods Corner blue”.

From Monday 9th February to Sunday 15th February, you’ll start to see:

• Blues flags flying in local businesses
• Posters promoting upcoming home games
• A bit of extra energy and excitement around the village

Our committee members and volunteers will be visiting businesses to help get flags and posters up, making it easy for everyone to take part.

A Big Focus on Families

A key part of this partnership is making game day more accessible and exciting for families.

LEGO Little Blues Passports

Kids can get their hands on a LEGO Little Blues Passport, which includes:

• A free child’s ticket to a Blues home game
• A LEGO reward collected at the stadium

It’s a brilliant way to get kids excited about rugby, while giving families a fun and affordable reason to head along to Eden Park.

Family Pass Giveaways

We’ll also be running family pass giveaways to Blues home games (2 adults + 2 children), promoted through our Greenwoods Corner Facebook and Instagram social media channels.
