Greenwoods Corner Safety Improvements - Staging Plan

The Greenwoods Corner Safety Improvement Works are about to get underway!

By way of a brief project construction overview, according to Auckland Transport's finalised "Staging Plan" as updated by the "Road Works Notice" for the project: 

• works will commence 31st March 2025. 
• works will be undertaken in five stages (primarily by way of night works between 9pm - 5am to minimise disruption to the public and shops). 
• Auckland Transport intends to complete the project within 25-30 night shifts, with occasional off-peak hours dayworks between 10am - 4pm as necessary.
• pedestrian access and access to shops will be maintained throughout the period of works.
• cones and signs will be moved to the edge of the pavement when the site is unattended for safety reasons, during which time there will be no impact on traffic and parking due to these cones.
• Auckland Transport and their contractor aim to avoid dayworks during the week of Easter (subject to any unforeseen delays).
