Caring4Smiles Dental Group takes the EcoPlay Challenge!

One of their major initiatives? Cutting down on paper waste!

With the help of their sustainability coach (thanks to the Albert-Eden Local Board), Caring4Smiles Dental Group put up "Let's Go Paperless" messaging at reception and have encouraged patients to choose email invoices and receipts. This small change has made a huge difference:

* They have successfully stopped printing invoices and receipts for existing patients, switching to email instead — no issues, no paper!

* Patients now review payment breakdowns directly with their dentists, eliminating the need for printed copies at reception and additional queries prior to payment, saving time for everyone.

* They've already saved 3.7 kg of CO₂ emissions from this action in two weeks of their ten-week program.
