This Mother’s Day, Greenwoods Corner village has come together to create something truly special. We’re giving away a beautifully curated luxury hamper valued at $746, filled with thoughtful treats from some of your favourite local businesses, all designed to celebrate the incredible women in our lives. From self-care and style to a few little luxuries, this hamper is all about giving back to the women who give so much. How the Giveaway Works Starting Tuesday 28 April, we’ll be revealing the hamper one layer at a time across our social channels. Each day brings a new surprise… and a new chance to enter. Here’s how to take part: • Each day, we’ll reveal one set of items in the hamper • Simply comment on the daily post with your guess of what’s inside (just for fun!) • Nominate one special person — a Mum, Grandmother, Aunty, or a special woman who helps raise and support our families • Tell us why she deserves to win • You can enter once per day on Facebook and once per day on Instagram • One nomination per entry Feel free to tag your special person — after all, it takes a village What You Could Win? Click here for full terms and conditions. Why We’re Doing This? At Greenwoods Corner, we believe in celebrating our community, and the women who hold it together. This is our way of saying thank you. From our village to yours. We were so impressed by the creativity, resourcefulness and eco-spirit that came through in every single entry to our Eco Easter Recycled/Sustainable Art Competition and by the enormously high standard of entries we received in our Eco Easter Colouring Competition.
Choosing winners was no easy task, and we would like to say a big thank you to our wonderful judge, Jack Tan from the Albert-Eden Local Board, for generously giving his time. We truly appreciate it! With the above said, it is our great pleasure to announce this year's winners... ECO EASTER RECYCLED/SUSTAINABLE ART COMPETITION : 1ST PLACE — Alice Neill, Age 10 An egg carton transformed into the most delightful Easter basket — complete with painted eggs, a sweet little bunny and a handwritten Happy Easter sign. 2ND PLACE — Max Wakim (Age 9) & Chris Wakim (Age 45) A father and son collaboration. A beautiful Easter egg collage crafted entirely from natural materials — acorns, berries, moss and leaves. Nature at its finest! 3RD PLACE — Paula Adams, Age 29 Ingeniously crafted from hospital paper plates — a gorgeous hatching Easter chick bursting with colour and creativity. Proof that amazing art can come from anywhere! ECO EASTER COLOURING COMPETITION : 1ST PLACE — Abby Li, Age 7 "Clean colours and tidy technique. Vibrant and beautiful effort. Your bunny pops out of the page." — Jack Tan 2ND PLACE — Raquel Karunanayake, Age 9 "Rich colours and nice detail — clearly time was taken to bring the Easter Bunny to life. Your selection of colours for the eggs wins me over." — Jack Tan 3RD PLACE — Heidi T, Age 7 "Innovative use of the bright nose to bring a 3D effect to the art piece. Light colours in a balanced way is so good and appealing to the eye." — Jack Tan A huge THANK YOU to every single person who entered and embraced the eco-creative spirit this Easter.
